Marie was one of twelve born to James and Josephine Lindsey. Marie was a mother of nine children and had eight sisters and three brothers. She remained a member and later confirmed as a deaconess from that time until her passing. She loved her family deeply and always had a hot meal for anyone in need.
In her passing, Deacon Marie leaves in love her sister Virginia Thomas. Two sons Harold Carmelita wife and Doug. Two daughters in law Pearl White and Alfreda White. Lelia Sandidge caregiver and special friends Steve and Sherri Dale. She also leaves behind twenty-three grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and four fostered children with seven children between them.
